Been in design / graphic art for years, shirts, posters, album art, and whatever else, but almost all finished with computers then printed. Really wanting to jump into hands on work, brushes and paint. I have a fairly good grasp of letters, kearning, and layout, but need to figure out handling a brush! If anyone knows any old school folks close by LaCrosse, Wisconsin that would take someone under their wing, I'm in need. the stuff I do is online (www.landonsheely.com), but I want to learn the good ol' classic styles and techniques.
