Can you put Matthews clear over latex paints?

I want to do some faux painting on Max metal using latex paints. Can I use any of the Matthews clear coat products over top of the latex? I know there is a long cure time for latex paints. I'm concerned that the clear top coat may not work if it doesn't "breathe". I can't wait 30 days for the latex to completely cure before clear coating. I have trouble tolerating solvent based paints (asthma).

Yes you can. Give it bout 3 days in heat and lightly mist clear on it very light coat. Wait bout 30 minutes and do another very light. Let sit over nite and hit it next day. We also spray our latex so it is not thick like rolled.
