Caulk or glue

For sealing the edges of hand-painted MDO signs is caulk or glue better? If glue, are all created equal or do any stand out?

I've heard both being used...I prefer to put my caulk in it tho...

wet your hand and rub it in...

:omg2: that sounds dirty but its how I do it...

I've been using Titebond II on the edges of my MDO signs. Don't do a lot of MDO, but haven't had any problems so far.

I've used Bondo, fiberglass, caulk, some waterproof spot putty from the paint store, and Titebond 2. They all seemed to work identically for me.

I use the Titebond 2 to seal the edges every time now just because it's the easiest for me to do. Any voids I fill with Bondo because it hardens in minutes.
