I doubt it. I've never had a cdr. file open in PS before, and have had an older version of cdr open in Illustrator when I imported it.... but never with recent versions.

Illustrator CS2 will open all but the latest version of a CDR file.

I have CS3 and X3 - send me the cdr and I'll open and save in whatever format you need.
