I have a VJ-1617H currently uses the soy based MP11 or MP31 ink. I have had the smart card need disabled so I don't need cards at all now
I want to switch over to a 3rd party Eco-Solvent ink and use refillable cartridges
Will a really good Cleaning / Flushing the lines, Change Dampers to new, etc be enough ? Just put in a new head so I don't want to mess it up
Is there a way to test the compatibility of the different inks to see if they don't mix well even if tiny amounts are left? I'm thinking mixing a few drops of each and see if there is any reaction over time but not sure if the solvent will just evaporate and it will thicken no matter what.
I have read where this has been done but don't have a step by step of how.
Thank You
