Changing default styles in Flexi

Create rectangle. Is always red with black outline and have to change every time.

Any ideas on how to change that defaults?

Text tool always starts as red with weird font. Any ideas there as well?

In mine (most current version). If I select the text tool - before I click to type anywhere, go to the text options on the design central pallet and change the font, color, etc. Then type something. The next time those will be the new default.

If you just click the text tool and start typing it should use the last selected (before use) options. Same with the rectangle tool for example. I select the rectangle tool but BEFORE I click on the page to make a rectangle, use the tool options to set the fill and/or stroke color, or even make it rounded rectangle those settings will become the new default if I were to select the tool and then just make a rectangle on the page without first changing the options.

If you select one of the tools and then just start using it on the page it uses those last set of options. Changing the object properties on the page by selecting the object AFTER the object is already made will not change the defaults. Took me a bit to figure that behavior out some time back...

sightline nailed it! When these things get our of order it will just ruin my day. I like it when my default font is some off the wall junk like brush script, NOT

Or this to factory defaults, at least for 8.6
go to Start->All program-> SAi Production Suite-> Preferences Manager-> and hit on load default settings.

Thanks a ton. I'll give it a go tomorrow. Knew there was a way to do it cause I've done it by accident several times.
