Changing Maint. Station In My Falcon 48

I just got a new Maint. Station for my Falcon Outdoor 48. Had problems with it printing good and some of the lines where not filling with ink. Mutoh tech. said to change Maint. Station. How hard is it to change? This is my first time at working on it. Do i need to do a head wash after I change it?

No head wash needed. Just change it as per the instructions in the maintenance manual. Be sure and set the capping station limits via the instructions in the manual as well. You do have a maintenance manual, don't you?

Make sure you remember which wire goes where on the motherboard, there's no documentation to tell you.

Tip: When you unfasten the control panel tape it to the printer so it doesn't hang there putting pressure on the wires.

"Do i need to do a head wash after I change it?" After I replaced mine I just manually draw ink through the waste lines to re-prime the heads.
