I tried to figure out why my Cj 500 converted printer shuts off in the middle of a printing process, but with my limited understanding of this printer I can't seems to figure out how to fix the problem. About less then a minute into printing the sub power goes off and on the panel window says "Illegal Shutdown Turn off Power.. at this point only the main power is on.. I hit the sub power it clears the panel window, few seconds later I hit the sub power to turn it back on, I start to print and it happens again. Anyone of you had this problem before? I sure would like to hear from anyone who could help me with this....
