CJV300-160 can't get into service mode

Hi all,

I've bought a very tired CJV300-160 and can't get it to go into service mode. The service manual that I got for it shows to press FUNC1+FUNC3 when the version information is displayed. It beeps, but there doesn't seem to be any of the extra options in adjust when it finishes booting.

When entering service mode it will look exactly like regular mode until you go into the menus and see the # menus. #Adjust, #Test, # Parameter etc.

Yeah, that's what I thought should happen. I can boot into firmware mode, but it doesn't want to go into service mode. Firmware is 2.70 if that makes a difference.

Also tried setting

System parameter SUPPORT = 2 and =3 but still no service mode. Is there a parameter somewhere for disabling it that's been turned on?

Func1 + Func3 goes into Firmware Update, as does holding Enter.
