Cleaning makes things worse?

Why would cleaning make missing nozzles worse? This last week, if say I have a couple nozzles missing, I'll do a clean(power or standard), and it will make it way worse! I'll go from a couple to half of the nozzles missing on some colors. It's very frustrating. Basically, to get full nozzles again, I have to draw the ink through the heads with a syringe. Why should I have to do that? What causes cleaning to not work?

When you say, "Faulty cap top", do you mean the rubber seals on top of the capping station?

Would that involve me purchasing a brand new capping station?

not sure...on my machine I can buy individual cap tops

You have to replace the entire capping station. I wish they sold just the caps for the Falcons.

If I can draw ink through the heads, wouldn't that be a sign that the seals are good?

Could be that the seals are sealing but the pump, tubing, vacuum breaker, drain are not working properly.

Same thing could occur is there is a leak in the ink delivery system.
Or if a cartidge is empty.
