I am mystified that no one talks about cleaning the machines with this new (now not so new) head setup. I take the wiper carriage out once a month and do a good cleaning and re-install- takes about 15-20 minutes and it gets nasty in a month. The recommended maintenance is pretty minimal I think? Gene
