Good Morning . . . . How do you guys keep up with clients? When you make initial contact, of course you get their pertinent info. (ie. ph#, Email, business address, measurements, interests, etc) But what's the best place to store all this for easy referral? I know we've progressed from client jackets and handwritten notes . . . I hope. Are y'all using programs that cater to the sign business? Have you found something that works for you? We're getting busy. Summer is coming. I don't want to spin out of control and shoot myself in the foot. Feed me. Feed me. haha

Sounds like you are looking for a CRM software solution, there are tons of them available, some are free, others have a monthly fee.

We use a filemaker database to track all of our jobs, and client info is put into there as well. There are sign industry options as well such as shopvox etc. Which will do this plus help you with quotes, workflow etc.

If you can expand on what you are looking for the software to do, we can make better suggestions, if you are just looking for a way to store customer contact info, even gmail / outlook will do that easily for free.

I agree.

One or two misplaced/lost client inquires will more than pay for a year's subscription of CRM.

I use Workflow Max with the lead-generation add-on. It's a project management program and it's 100% online and features a mobile app for easy access to all my documents when I'm on the road.

I'm just a one-man show, but it's been one of the best back-office investments.

It's 100% bullet proof, as long as you stay disciplined to enter the data.

A very easy to use and simple CRM is OnePageCRM. It is great to help keep up with scheduling calls and emails. Pair that with a VOiP system called Grasshopper (for professional answering services, virtual faxes if anyone is still needs this feature, lol, and an app to receive calls.

I simple put all correspondence and info in a folder and or sub-folder. For example Construction: Subs, General Contractors, Landscape, & Mechanical. Schools: MHS, CHS, PSMS, etc.

Use a CRM. or a database style app like asana, trello, monday.com, air table etc.
