CNC Routing Acrylic bonded to ACM?

DisplayWorks S&G

New Member
I have a project where I am facing acrylic letters with brushed gold ACM. Wondering if I can attempt to save a step.

Has anyone done this before and if so, what kind of adhesive might work well for this. Thought it was worth trying. Obviously want to avoid seeing the adhesive along the edges.

Thanks!

Just ordered some to try out. Thanks!
It is great stuff, on occasion you'll benefit from leaving the adhesive applied for a time before cutting. Other times, if you are going to be engraving and removing excess, you want to cut and remove the adhesive asap. A bit of duct tape, with a bit of 467mp applied to it, with grab onto errant pieces left behind and remove them pretty reliably. Otherwise it's fingertips rubbed raw.
Also, rough up the acm on the adhesive side with something, even a stiff scotchbrite pad it better than nothing.
