color matching issue

Is there a way to match a screen printed red thats on a clear film? We have tried all morn and the red we print on our printer will not get this red that was screen printed any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Pull out a pantone chip chart and get the closest match.
Print that as a spot color.
90% chance you will not hit the color exactly, but close enough without having your system properly profiled.

If the problem is that your printed red is translucent and the screen printed ink is opaque then no you're not going to get the same color. Not without laying down a white underneath it. Process inks are translucent by nature.

If you're just trying to match the red color on a white background then try using a higher resolution and/or number of passes. It lays down more ink and really helps the reds.
