Color problem on Roland SP-540I

Hello friends, I have problems with the Roland SP-540i plotter.

The first problem is that I don't get such good and strong colors. The biggest problem is with black color, I use Preset: Signs&Display.
The problem with this mod is that the black color is very pale, and the other colors are okay (they can pass, but they are not ideal). But when I use the Pre-Press U.S. mod. I get the perfect black color, but the other colors are very bad (dark).

Dumpers changed!

Please help me, I've been going crazy for months with these problems.
Sometimes I even consider switching to the HP Latex 3x series. Your opinion?

Sorry for my english, google translate :)

Try changing your profile to density control only in versaworks. This will print black just using the black head, rather than a mix of colours. This can often give a better more solid black

There is certainly issues with your Yellow/Magenta Head. Try a 48 Hour head soak to see if it revives, otherwise you'll need to change that head to remove those lines when you have colors that use Magenta and Yellow.

Unfortunately, it still happens, I also put the black color in the graphic preparation as
C: 0
M: 0
Y: 0
K:100

You can also try printing in high quality. This is slower but can often solve problems with the ink banding. Did you replace the dampers for OEM Roland ones or aftermarket?

Here's some new info, I tried unidirectional printing, high quality, slow down the speed... But still the same problem

I printed CMYK color pattern.

I turned off the C/K head and printed complete CMYK + BLACK (C:100+M:100+Y:100+K:100)
Pictures attached.

Then I turned off the Y/M head and turned on C/K and reprinted CMYK + BLACK (C:100+M:100+Y:100+K:100) Attached images.

After that I turned on all heads and printed again CMYK + BLACK (C:100+M:100+Y:100+K:100)

Please help me, C/K head replaced less than 5 days ago

At this point if you can't get it printing properly, pay a technician to come out and fix it for you. At the moment you are just wasting money chasing things that aren;t causing the problem, so it needs investigating by someone with more experience

Update: Problem solved by installing more pinch rollers and cleaning the rollers. Also using the ICC profile. Temperature 36 and 42. Unbelievable
