Commercial build out street side sign

A local vacant commercial building and lot were recently sold. As I drove by with construction going on I noticed a roadside lot layout sign by the road with the phone number and other information. Part of the lot is angled and when I glanced at the sign and I had to do a double take because I didn't think the lot was angled where depicted. The I noticed the lines for the road at the top of the sign. I can't picture in my mind the last few signs for commercial lot layout I saw while driving and we haven't done roadside layout signs but don't they typically depict the road at the bottom? I'm sure you can't be shot for displaying the road at the top but it just seemed upside down.

Actually no to both Maniac and J Hill. It is in the U.S. on a road running northeast with the lot on the north side of the road. Leave the text alone but rotate the graphics 180 and to me it would make more sense. Maybe that is just the freak in me.
