I have a client that wants to pick computer cut vinyl for a wrap. Any tricks or suggestions in installing high performance vinyl as a wrap? Would laminating it help?

That's preposterous.
You dont want to do a wrap with anything but air release vinyl.
3M Control tac, Oracal EZ, Mactac Be Free, etc.

Wait, I could be wrong... but it's not a "wrap" if it's cut vinyl right? That's at most a partial...

And to address the OP further, laminating helps with most applications

It can be done.
Back in the dark ages before air release was invented we wrapped everything with hp vinyl. Need some good squeegee skills and patience.
HP will react to heat and stretch about the same as wrap vinyl but without the air release and repositionable(?) features you have to get it right the first time.
Why the computer cut vinyl? Is it a color you can't hit with a printer or just a bunch of contour cut stripes?
If it is a complete wrap and you need to match a stock vinyl color you could laminate the cut vinyl on top of some 3m 180 or oracal to make it eaiser to install. Would raise your material cost a good deal but will work if they will pay.
