connect a Roland SP 540 V via usb?

Just setting up an SP540V that I purchased used.
It appears that it came with everything except a data cable, which I'll need to purchase.
It says in the manual that it can be connected via usb or ethernet but I can only see an ethernet connection on the machine.
Am I missing something, an adapter plug or is there such a thing as a usb to ethernet type cable available?

Actually the usb cable goes from the printer to the computer. Some also have a wireless option, not sure how that works.

Couldn't see any way to do it, just went and picked up an ethernet cable.

The manual for the SP is the same for the 300 and 540. The 300 had USB and the 540 only has Ethernet.
