Contour Cut changes the color

I am printing decals and this is sooo weird. When I print the decal without the contour cut it prints perfectly. When I add the contour cut to my decal it changes the black in my design to grey. I have tried this like 5 times. Is this some kind of setting I am overlooking?

I am using a PrismJet 62" and Flexi 8.5

Anybody got any input on this one????

Okay this was something I tried while I was posting this and it worked but it is still odd. I had to seperate the contour cut and then move it to the back of the design and it printed okay???? Why in the world?? I have never had to do this before.
