I cant for the life of me understand this software and why they would allow something like this to work the way it does.
Primarily I am talking about items that when grouped and marqueed for output will be missing the grouped item.
So let me explain how that works.... I have a file that I have previously saved and need to reprint and cut but I have some other items I am adding to the output. In able to do this I needed to move one of the previously saved items, but to do this I needed to seperate the contour cut as it was somehow connected to all the other contour cuts in the file.
I grouped this item with the contour after breaking it apart and moved it to allow more items to be added.
After adding the new items I simply marquee everything on screen and select rip and print.
Out it goes and looks fine on the screen.
Only after laminating a day later and looking at the properties of the item do i see the diagram of the contour cut and the items that were grouped are showing no cuts.
Why the hell would they allow the software to do this?
Thank goodness I saved the file exactly as i sent it and faked it out and resent but just went straight to cut and bypassed printing. Of course i realized at this point that ther grouped item would not send the cut lines and had to send it again as it missed the items.
Just efin stupid!!!! or maybe I am, I dont know anymore
