In the contour cut tool box on the right- there is a little box at the bottom that says with holes. Check that box before you click the green check box.
i think i can do it if the outlines are separated and with holes ..tehn have to uncompound cut and delete the one side i dont want to cut..make sense?? oh well, got it just seems like alot of steps. flexi is stupid sometimes
first ..flybar SEPERATE OUTLINES.... it has to see only one line to place a cut if 2 are lit up it wont work..do know that much...i had illy files where i had to "convert to outlines" first .then select insides AND outsides > compound >then contour
one gGOOD thing about flex in its defense is nomatter what type of EPS file it is .you can get all the parts apart to work on em..ungroup all followed by uncompound will bust apart anything so at least a guy can weld em all back together right
if its a complicated logo and you dont want to take everything apart[man thats not good if you need to move stuff around you ll be there all selecting tems to put back together] take just the part needs an outline ..ctrl>pull a copy out to the side and just take that apart ..make a cutline>seperate outline ..then lay just the cutline over the whole deal arrange back ..grab it all >group..ready to print
