Convert a DOCX file?

i received a docx file from a customer....from what i've gotten off the internet, it was created in a newer version of MSWord....any chance anyone has a place that can convert or anyone with a newer version that could convert it for me??? any help is appreciated....

Those are supposed to be backwards-compatible with older versions of MS Word (assuming you have Word).

I've actually have been using OpenOffice products from sun microsystems. It has all the capabilities of opening and using microsift office files, and is totally free. you may want to check to see if that might be a better alternative. http://www.openoffice.org

You just need to update. I had to do the same thing. I'm assumin' that's the link that Browner posted though.
