Thanks Guys,
I have an old version of Corel Draw, version 3.0 from the old old days.
I loaded it yesterday and beleave it or not it works in Win Xp…
I’m wondering if Corel 12 would actually recognize it and allow for the upgrade version.
CorelDRAW Essentials 2, I guess, is maybe version 11, released in 2003 or so. Currently about $70.oo for the full version.
Basically all I want to do is be able to trace a picture so I can plot it.
Thanks Trever, I downloaded the vectrasoft demo and it looks pretty powerful. Unfortunately it didn’t do as well tracing as Corel 3 does but then, I might be doing something wrong.. Even in Corel I get the jaggeys, and way to many nodes so I was hoping a new version would help smooth things out.
Excuse my ignorance, but when I want to plot a picture, I use the Trace tool on all the lines that I want and then remove the bitmap, then export it as a postscript file to bring into Flexi. Is this how I should go about this or is there another way?
Thanks again for all the quick replies.
Still trying to figure out if CorelDRAW Essentials 2 will trace or vector??? I guess and then save as a plot able picture?
