Coroplast sheets

I have a customer who wants a sign done on an 8'X8' sheet of coroplast. I have done a couple of 4'X8' but I was wondering if I can even get the coroplast in 8'X8'. Would There be any local stores like home depot or those types that can get it or any vinyl supply warehouse. Or would I just be better off trying to talk them into using 2 4'X8' sheets since this is all just cut vinyl.
Thank you!

I've used 5 x 10 but never larger.

I would think the shipping on something that large would kill the deal.

Must be a way to use a couple of 4 x 8's.

What are the details..

just give him his 8'x8' sign in the 2 4'x8' sections and let him butt them together when he screws it to whatever. plus, it's easier to travel with/ship than an 8'x8' sign panel
OR
build an 8'x8' coroplast sheet out of 4-4'x8' sheets & acrylic bonding tape.
...flip the seam on the 2nd layer, tape em together, and you're set. extra sturdy and you'll never see the seam. good luck getting it to wherever tho'.

Two 4x8 sheets butted together. Don't overthink it....it's the cheapest stuff they can get. It's not gonna be a masterpiece.

To be honest I hate giving you advice because you're in my same county.
But this is not something readily available.
You can get coro from N Glantz in Monroeville, they are our best local supplier and they deliver.
You're going to have to butt two sheets, and it's going to be a cheesy short term job.
You will need some sort of framework.
Or the client will have to do this themselves.
Educate your client and tell them that at best, coro looks OK for a year outside.
Upsell them to Alumalite. Also available from Glantz.
Charge accordingly.
Customers in our area are notoriously cheap and will act like you are asking for one of their testicles if you try and charge more than $100 for anything.
But please don't add further damage to an already saturated market by giving your work away.

I love your brutal honesty, but you deliver a great message. I think, from my experience thus far, that customers can be cheap everywhere. I greatly attribute this to exactly what you are saying, an over-saturated market where people give work away for far less than market value. I love when I quote someone $600 for a 4x8 sign and they tell me "But this other guy made this comparable sign for $200." Typically whoever made the sign in question is no longer in business. That tends to be the fate of any business that under charges for work...they don't stay in business long. Stick to your guns and price things properly and your business may have a chance to thrive.

As far as using coroplast, the first thought that comes to mind is that for virtually a few dollars more, the sign could be made on a quality aluminum composite material that will last several years.
