Crash course on the falcon

Ok so I go throu the whole set-up of this and find pink ink on the floor after looking around the nut that hooks the steal line up to the ink cart is broken. HOW THE hell is that.
#2 Arent the clampping stations sponges soft.
Looks like the hole thing needs a rebuild.... Funny how not knowing much about the printers at first but after spending 4hours with one you learn real quik.

I've ripped mine apart many times. I actually wish I was close and could be there to help.
When I first got mine it had sat for about a year so it was a real challenge but we got everything going and paid for itself in short order.

Thanks rob I got your pm. I'm going to start with all the lines to see that they are clear. Might take off the heads that scares me a bit and let them soak. I see in the manual that the brass nuts all have different numbers.Does any one know if they are all the same? And what does the caping station do. Sorry guys get ready for allot more questions.

You don't need to take off the lines to see if they are clear. I've done that once and I don't even think it helped.(see*)

The nuts are numbered because they are for different heads

Capping station is to pull ink through the heads (like a flush) to clean them. *You can do the same thing with a syringe for a more heavy duty clean out.
