Hey all you Roland print/cut users! Here's my tip of the day.
After making numerous adjustments(and replacing the cut carriage cable) to get our SP540V to cut correctly it still was hit and miss.
Nip tension.(pinch rollers) need to have their pressure adjusted since it lessens over time. It made a huge difference. Now it actually cuts with repeatable results.
Apparently these things need attention more than once every six years. LOL
