curious about a sign

I have a customer who is doing the bare minimum to replace a sign. We are just wrapping over the existing signage. We are adding reflective lettering on top of the new graphic. I've already printed and laminated the graphic. What I am looking to do is place the reflective lettering onto the graphic and then laminating over it. Will that second layer of laminate protect the reflective lettering from curling over time? is the 2nd layer of laminate overkill? if I don't laminate over the reflective lettering, will they start to curl up over time?
In the past, I have placed cut letters over a print and then laminated it all together. but this reflective was an afterthought. So I'm just looking to see if I gain anything for the customer by laminating the reflective to the print.

I would think they'd shrink at two different rates. Are you printing onto the reflective or just die cutting it and apply ?? If you print it, I'd just use a liquid lam on it, let it dry..... then put it down.

i plotted the reflective out to lay right on top of the lettering thats printed. we just wanted an extra "pop" for it. the letters are already thin so the reflective will give it that pop. She's doing this as an interim until she can get the full sign redone.

plotter reflective doesn't need lamination, you have already done lamination on the print

this is an interim sign, call it good and wait for the full redo

ok. i just didn't want the reflective lettering to curl on top and thought maybe the lam would keep it in place
