Cutting Long Vinyl Stripes

I use a Virutex slitter to cut narrow strips of vinyl, it uses a guide fence you can set for any size up to 4"' wide strip, run it along the vinyl and you get a precise factory finish cut. It's made to also slit plastic laminate, which it what I purchased it for, then found it could do a great job slitting vinyl also. One of the best features of the Virutex slitter, it slits from the edge so you don't have to pre cut down you 24" or 30" vinyl, it will just slit from the edge. Usually I don't use the first slit from the edge because it may have slight damage on the edge.

You can find used ones on ebay for about $50 0r less.

Art! Hot and fresh.
I must be doing it all wrong then ... I go completely high tech ... I use a ruler and knife to cut mine.

And of course I have a 20 lb drop weight I picked up from an old offset shop to hold the ruler in place at the end.

And of course if I need to cut a 30'+ stripe ... I just tape up the roll appropriately and cut the whole roll down with a fine toothed circular saw ... no burr and I get a fancy smaller roll.
