Cutting Master 2

Lately I have been getting unfinished cuts and then a diagonal cut line that cuts across the print and ends at the first registration mark. I can cut one batch of prints fine and then load another batch and use the same file and this will happen. This does not happen much, but more so lately. This only happens cutting from AI with Cutting Master 2. We cut all other vinyl from Signlab and have never had this issue. Anyone else had this happen? Anything to look for? Like I said, using the same file, sometimes one group cuts fine and the next doesn't using the same file.

I had the same problem the first time couple times I used Cutmaster. I ended up deleting the software and reloading it on my computer. I also did the a factory reset on the cutter. Never did it again.

Hope that helps

It's been a few years, but I think when we had the issue we had to upgrade the firmware on the plotter.
Then you have to make sure it is set to the right language setting. (I think we set it to auto?)

Update firmware, reset the cutter.
Why are you still on CM2. after updating Firmware, delete CM2 and download newer Cutting Master 3.

Updating now. I still use CM2 because I read somewhere ( maybe Graphtec site) that CM3 was for CS4 and up. I am still using CS3. Maybe I will download CM3 and see if it will work with CS3.

The only time i have ran into this issues it was because in our shop we run our cut master off of 3 different computers if the cutmaster is open on any other machine than the one you are sending the actual cut file from it glitches for some reason. But every time it cuts around 3/4 of the image and some crazy line thru everything.
