cutting reflective

I have an HP 315 printer/cutter. I used to print and cut reflective vinyl all the time. All the sudden it will not pick up the bar code on the reflective material. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I am using FLexi print and cut 22. It does not have white ink where I can print a white strip under the bar code.

You could try adjusting the OPOS sensitivity to get more consistent mark scanning on the reflective. You could also try using the yellow OPOS filter(I have attached instructions) and see if you can get OPOS to find the marks that way. If both of those options don't work, you could always to the scotch tape trick and apply a matte finish scotch tape over the reg marks and barcode.
