D/S magnets? Is that what she means?

Got this email today:

Do you have the open/close magnets? Open on one side and closed on the other?

I asked her to tell me how she will be using them so I could figure out what she's talking about and she said, "On classified safes". I'm not sure if she wants double sided magnets or those magnets like ya stick on the dishwasher that say "Clean" at the top and "Dirty" upside down on the bottom so you flip it around to let other people in the house know what's in there.

Anyone think they may know what she's talking about?

On something as vague as this, it would be easier and perhaps safer to just point blank ask her what she means or wants.

Any or all of the answers here will probably be guesses.

It's the 50/50 deal and you know Murphy will kick on regardless of what you propose. :thumb:

Gino: I was going to ask her more specifically but thought I would ask here in case there *is* something out there that I just don't know about. I guess I'll have to just ask her!

Pat: That's kind of what I was thinking but there won't be a "magnet" side exposed, right? Or maybe I'm picturing it wrong.

Pat's way would work if you used a French Cleat form of putting the two together. It would involve lots of extra gluing or double-sided taping and in my opinion, look kinda clumsy, unless you spend the necessary time, which probably she isn't interested in paying for anyway.

You need to glue together before you apply graphic so the poles match up...You also need to make sure you have enough magnetic pull after applying graphics...

But the design will be applied to the magnetic side....Take a piece of magnet material backwards.....Most will not stick....
