damper empty

Printing fine for weeks, go to shop this morning and last print that I left night before, which should of been red is printed yellow. Ok, so I do a nozzle check. Magenta is missing. So I check out the damper for magenta and it's empty. All others are fine. I look in at the station and it looks like the capping station is dry. I do a cleaning, no help. I tried pulling ink through the lines, no help. Nothing is bringing the magenta back or filling up the damper. Any ideas? I pulled the ink cartridge and it's not empty yet but not really full either. ideas, ideas?

Put in a new damper.

Ditto....depending on how old they are ...... consider putting in a new set.

Yep. I had one with a hairline fracture around the exit to the head that you couldn't see until you took the thing out.

same thing happen to me, it was a clogged line. check the line before anything.. good luck

Looks like you have an air leak somewhere in your magenta ink line

Ditto on the air leak. Never use a wrench to tighten the nut. Finger tighten only.
