Dampers Clogging?

Has anyone ever had dampers clog to the point of starving the head for enough ink to print correctly? Starts to leave lighter colored streaks through the print just like a badly clogged head. But if you stop and do a nozzle check it looks fine. Very intermittent problem.

Could the dampers do this? Can't think of anything else that would.

Yes, it is very important to change the damper regularly such like changing oil on your car!

I would equate dampers more to an oil filter than and oil change, most dampers serve two purposes they are a reservoir for ink while the print head is away from the capping station and they are also a fine mesh filter to help keep the heads from clogging!
