My thought s exactly. He does not know what it is. He has other stickers, posters with it and wants to keep the consistency.

Fonts do have licenses attached to them, so that may not be best thing to do, if licenses matter.
If it's just that exact copy and you don't need any other text, just use the ole pen tool and call it a day.

not a problem if have to get licensed font.
But the old pen tool is probably the route I will take seeing no one can find it. lol

It was more about that the customer needed to provide the font. It's one thing if they at least provided the font name, but providing the font is where the hiccup is. However, what the odds that even if they knew what the font was at one time, that it was information that they would have deemed worthy to retain? I doubt that they even knew to begin with.
Well, sometimes it's not if can or can't find it, it's how long does it take versus just reproducing it (even if it's budget issues, having to potentially buy the font, if able to find it, could kill the budget as well) from the get go. Although not seeing Tiki in the thread, probably means it's going to be awhile at this point (unless it's just the holiday playing a part).
