die sub metal plates seem to be able to have the image wiped off?

I ran a few thousand die sub metal plates for a car parts mfg'er a while back and they caledl to say the black graphics are completely coming off due to the degreasing chemicals they use to clean the grease off the cages.

I have no idea how die sub works but it seems that if that wont stick to the plate nothing would?

What can I suggest for future orders?

Something must be going on with it. It might be the chemistry of the chemicals that they are using and how it affects the sublimation ink, but I haven't had anything cause dye sub inks to "run", but without knowing the specifics of what they are using, I couldn't say for sure.

Did you run them or did you sub them out? If you ran them, what dye sub ink did you use, what was the product it was dye subbed on? Specifically, not generically (where did you get it?).

I've never seen dye sub run either.
