Differences in 3M CV3

Went to order another roll of my 3M vinyl today and happened to notice on the core the product code was IJ380CV3 - I usually purchase the IJ180CV3 stuff. I didn't notice much difference in roll to roll, but I wasn't looking for any, either. What's the difference between the two other than price?

Ok, that's what I sort of thought when I read the descriptions on the 3M site. I took 'compound curves' to mean 'deep channels' as well... obviously not!
Thanks guys!

It defintiley does work better in "deep channels" if you mean the sort you find on the side of a Sprinter....

Aside from that - thinner film costs more. While I realize cast is more expensive to produce I always thought it was funny that you have to pay more to get less for your money.
