digital media storage

Hi there all!
New to this forum thing.
How do you store your digital media? Stand up or lay down flat, in box,
on shelf. What do you suggest?

54" Rolls I stand up straight using the core end supports supplied by manufactor when purchased thru vendor.Smaller rolls 30" I use a heavt duty media rack available at most good sign supply companies.
P.s Normally a good thing to keep the protective clear liner bag over media when not in use to protect from dust etc etc.

Thanks for the advice. Similar to what I am currently doing.
I am standing up my rolls & either covering with the bags they came in or wrapping them
with clean wax paper from used lamination to keep finger prints & dust off.
