Do I need a new motor?

Just recently my machine is having trouble pulling even 50' of vinyl on it and it will not track straight at all even though it is lined up perfectly. I am buying a few new rollers to help though mine are in great shape but wanted to know opinions if you think my motor would be going out which would also be the reason that it isn't cutting straight since it will not track 5' straight even on a solid print. Also does anyone know if this is something I can put in my self and where would be the best reliable place to buy parts from. I have been lucky enough not to have to buy anything such as a motor yet

You most likely do not need a motor. Media skewing is caused by the pinch rollers and the grit roller for the most part. You can clean both with some rubbing alcohol to see if that helps. You also want to check your media holders and make sure they are tight and that the media doesn't shimmy back and forth on the media holders when it is being fed. One last thing to check is that the media isn't sticking to the platen in the beginning of the prints. This can cause one side to be pulled harder than the other which will cause a skew. If all else fails, try new pinch rollers and it could also be a bad or loose grit roller. Unfortunately I have no experience changing one of those out so I can't give any advice on that.
