Does anyone use any other cutter with Vworks?

I have kinda suspended my search for a XC-540 the used ones have a
million miles on them and with the economy faltering and the crazy season
(elections) coming on for the next year- don't want to buy new. Will any
other brand cutter read the Roland reg marks? It appears that the GXpro
will only cut 48" and the 64" (forget the model) is too big for our crowded
shop. I have 30" SummaPros but with the old style optics- and then you
have to manually add reg marks to suit. Are there any other possibilities?

I use the GX500 which is the 48 inch cut. But I want the GX640 which is the bigger one. I forget the cut width, but it's like 60 inches. So I'll sell my GX500 if someone wants it.
