Alright, i want to switch from PC to a 100% Apple setup but have some issues.

I have a GCC brand plotter and i called the manufacture and there is no Mac drivers.

I was talking to a reseller and they told me if i buy Flexi for Mac it has it's own drivers to make the cutter work.

This true?

:thankyou:

If you device is listed in Production Manager it should work.

I don't have my security dongle at the house so I can't check now... however if you list the exact model I'll look for it when I get into the office tomorrow.

well i have the plotter working with flexi for PC now but i also had to pop in the disc the plotter came with to get the computer to recognize the machine since i use signpal bobcat b-60 selection in flexi.

I'm using flexi 8.6 on a PC and there are a ton of gcc drivers. Not sure if this applies for MAC or not.

How is connected to the PC ... USB, Serial, Parallel, or Ehternet? Maybe that disk is a USB driver?

I have two plotters (one is connected via Serial, the other via Parallel) and all I had to do was select them from the list in PM and they worked. The drivers were installed with Flexi.

hmmmm, How do you adjust blade pressure and all that through flexi?

On the driver cd i had with my cutter that was the only way to do so since you cannot on the plotter it self's lcd panels.

It's connected with a serial to USB (usb into tower) and a square ended type cable to USB (usb into tower)
