I have vp540. my area going to hit below 32F this weekend.

Roland manual says, 68F or more recommended when power on.

Does anyone have any problems because of temperature issue?

should I turn heater on while I'm not in shop?

Thanks

we leave our heating on at a set temp so it kicks in if it gets to that temp...we also have a vp540 and i know you don;t want the printer or really materials etc getting high/low temps all the time, you need really to have an "ideal" temp all year round.

I think it would be a good idea to keep the printer, computers, and any and all materials at room temperature all the time.

You should really keep your printer and media in a climate controlled room. Helps to keep your investment safe and greatly improves your odds of printing sellable graphics.
I've never experienced any problems with to much cold but my printer has shut down during a heat wave.
