I don't usually listen to mainstream music, but I feel it's been an amazing start to the year for it so far. Sometimes, the artists even use real musical instruments!

I'm especially liking "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson/Bruno Mars.

There was a woman reported for " crazy drunk driving" here as she was playing loud music. When pulled over, she was sober and had Uptown funk on repeat. The police officer said "I don't blame you, that song is my jam!"

As a guitar player, I was not a fan of the over plucked sound of the guitar. For me it was very meh...

My buddy was the guitar player in this local Ottawa band for about 5 years until he went back to university to get his masters of music. Although this does not show his guitar skills, the band is pretty cool... This is a live performance not a choreographed video...
