Hi, we've just bought a Mutoh 1617H and I'm trying to print an 11ft PVC banner, double sided. First attempt I cut the material after the front side had printed and then fed in for the reverse side, however towards the end of a perfect print the sensor detected the media had run out and aborted the print!
Second attempt today I've printed the front side, reversed back on to the roll, turned the roll around and fed back into the printer. Here's where I have the problem.... the roll when reversed is feeding up from underneath and hitting the brackets that hold the roll in place, which is kinking the media as it's fed in. Has anyone ever had this problem? What would you suggest?
