DX4 Manifold

Hey Guys and Girls.... I have a Mutoh Toucan LT with a head thats only 8 months old and one of the top Manifold pins just broke off.... I see you can buy the DX4 manifolds alone from online dealers ranging from $29 - $49. Has anyone have luck just replacing the manifold??? If so any tricks or was it fairly easy?

Very easy, just make sure the rubber O-rings are correctly positioned.

i've noticed you need to make sure both are equally screwed. so you might want to do a half turn each alternating until they seem good and tight. otherwise you will see the pcb on the print head get warped a bit.

yes, there are many users change DX4 water based to DX4 solvent head with a solvent adaptor.
