We just updated the firmware on our VS540i to the new 1.60 and it said in the notes that it now supports Eco Sol Max 3 inks...was anyone aware that they were working on a 3? I have to say that I don't feel like our Eco Sol Max 2 inks last or are nearly as durable as the original Eco Sol Ink -- they fade quicker outdoors, and when using them unlaminated on a higher wear spot (like a sticker on a cell phone or a lighter wrap) we expect them to wear the ink off, but it doesn't seem they last nearly as long as original eco sol max inks.
Does anyone know what advantage the max3 will have? Will they require new profiles again? Tell me what you knw....
