ECO ULTRA LIFE no UV

Is there any studies on how long Eco Ultra colors will hold up in direct sun with no UV protection? Also, no physical contact.
I tried some searches but couldn't find any solid info.

I'm not sure if Mutoh, Roland or any of the other mild solvent printers vary a heck of a lot, but in direct sunlight all day... especially afternoon or setting sun.... I would imagine you're safe at two years and the closer you are to the equator.... that number would gradually drop.

No physical contact ?? Meaning it's up high where no one can screw with it ??

I was thinking a little over a year myself, which is all the sign will be up for. Also, yes nobody can touch it. I remember a guy doing a study on here saying he purposely didnt laminate or clear his ink and it lasted a lot longer then he expected.

Wilhelm Imaging Research Inc doesn't even have data on any solvent inks. it's strange how an industry that goes on about lightfastness doesn't have technical data to back it up.

Nazdar's Lyson eco-sol inks are warrantied to last a minimum of 2yrs outdoors, unlaminated (film or clear coat). The pigments have a much longer UV-stability rating and internal tests with Q-UV and Xenon weathering show 3-4 years before any noticable degradation.

I can't speak for Eco-Ultra but hopefully this helps.
