Embroidery Office and Windows XP--All icons are gone

After I installed my Embroidery Office 8....every single graphic file I have on my computer is being recognized as an embroidery file. Wouldnt be a big deal but with embroidery files you can view your icons as thumbnail images. They all appear as this generic icon.

Anyway, I know this is something quite simple for somebody other than me. I have tried a few different things to no avail.

If anybody knows how to fix this please help.

try right clicking the icon then >open with>chose program> now choose the program you will like to be the default program for that type of file , make sure you check (Always use the selected program to pen this kind of file)

tried that and it will open it with that program (in this case Corel) but it still wont let me view the icon.

Sound like a problem with file association. You might want to take a look here:

I've read of many people having great success with these "utilities", I personally have never used them. Might be worth a shot...
