Epson S80600 feeder spool running twice as fast as take-up spool

Hi,

Strange one on a Sunday morning.
I am doing a print on IJ280 (why couldn't' it be cheap material) and the print and take-up are just fine, however the Feed Spooler that the roll is on is running twice as fast as the take-up, resulting in 3 meters of IJ280 all over the floor and it has destroyed the material as it has dust contaminant on t. Even though I try and keep a clean work area, I don't like rubbing my material on the floor before printing.
Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Thanks in advance.
Neil

I have rectified the problem by using another profile, but not sure what parameters would cause this problem in the profile I have used for months.

I have had this issue a couple of times it may be how the tube on the inside of the roll is reacting when it is feeding itself. It is automatic, so if it is not on the spindle correctly, it could get confused. tension issue

The feed spooler not only allows material to feed from the roll, it also turns back to apply tension. Sounds like yours wasn't turning back. Maybe you accidentally hit the switch for reverse wound material?
