Epson Surecolor S40600 randomly prints large white areas

I am having this issue with my Epson Surecolor S40600 since last week. I generally print long vinyls for floor wraps and it has been working quite well. BUt for some reason, the printer randomly stops the print in-between and goes through the large part vinyl roll without printing anything. Sometimes, it would leave 10-20ft of white vinyl before printing again but mostly it just keeps going through the whole 150ft roll without printing anything. Heads won't even move.
Anyone faced this before? Does not seems like a software issue? So something i need to fix with printer?
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Do you have it connected via USB? I was experiencing this issue when we first got our s80600 and when we switched from USB to a wifi connection the issue was resolved. You may need a new USB cord or better yet switch to wifi

Remark: Wifi is not possible, but Ethernet is :)

I have encountered one other machine having the same issue. But they were actually running Ethernet and using Caldera.

Which RIP SW are you using?

It sounds like a bad data cable.
Usually starts to pause while printing or feeds media for no reason.
A new usb/ethernet cable should do the trick.

Thanks for suggestions. I am using Onyx RIP. I had one theory that I gave command to print on Onyx Gama (my mistake) while it was already printing something. But it seems like faulty USB cable can be the issue. I will try a new cable.
