Need Help Error on when triyng to update naked motherboard firmware - RJ900-X

Guys,

Need some help! I`m trying to install a new motherboard on my mutoh RJ900-x and when i log on MSA i keep getting this mensage.

And when i click on ''ok'' it come as printer unknown with no options to update the main firmware.

Anyone know what to do?

Did you install the printer serial # on the new board?

No,

Do i have to do it first? If so.. how can i do it? This is my frist time doing this.. i just conected all the cables turned it on manager mod and tryied to update.

Yes, it needs the printer serial# to identify the printer.

That is why you are getting 'unknown'

I think it is Maintenance Mode - Parameter/Update.

But you should check with your dealer.

It is doable with the MSA, but you will need a tech password.
It would be easier to have a tech walk you through it.

It is via PC or directly on the printer? Tried to do it via printer by While holding down, left and right key. without sucess..

The MSA is PC software from Mutoh.
And should be able to run remotely from your local dealer.

It looks like the Parameter/Update is not available on this printer.
